Planning a Field Trip to the Meteorite Museum and Geology Museum

NASA’s VIRTUAL MICROSCOPE

Would you like to use an electron microscope yourself? NASA’s Virtual Microscope is a web-based facility that allows you to examine a sample as if you are actually using a microscope. It includes light and electron microscope images of geological, biological and engineering samples, including several meteorite samples. You can move around the sample, zoom in to high magnification, and even do chemical analyses on some samples.
